My 23-year career as a family doctor—both in the BC Interior and here in Vancouver—sparked my desire to be your next Member of the Legislative Assembly.

I have seen the health care system from all sides; as a family doctor, as an advocate for a stronger health care system and as a patient.  In these roles, I was impressed with the work being done by the BC Liberals to build a better future and a better health care system for ALL British Columbians.

In all my work, I have acted by listening first then by building consensus and finding solutions.  I encourage you to discuss and share with me the issues that matter most to you, your friends, family and neighbours.  Place your trust in me and I will listen and I will be an advocate for your interests as your next Vancouver-Fairview MLA.

With the economic downturn touching every part of the global economy, it is important to have experienced leadership in Victoria. Our province has avoided the worst of the problems experienced elsewhere because of the course set by the BC Liberals over the past eight years. We need this strong leadership to steer us through the difficult economic times.

A strong BC Liberal team will keep BC on the right track and ensure that we have the financial resources we need to deal with issues like health care, education and homelessness.
